About the Campaign

Effingham County is growing fast. Scott Hoffman believes growth must be planned, not reckless. We need to prepare for increased traffic, school capacity, roads, and infrastructure before problems become crises. The question is simple: Who’s planning for tomorrow?

Residents deserve to know how major decisions are made and who has a seat at the table. Scott supports open meetings, community listening sessions, and clear public updates, especially when major projects, including data centers, are being considered. Government should work in the open, not behind closed doors.

I believe taxpayer money should be treated with respect. Spend wisely. Plan ahead. Protect the taxpayer.

County government should focus on essential needs, demand value for every dollar, and make responsible decisions for the future.

Effingham’s farms, neighborhoods, open spaces, and rural way of life are worth protecting. Scott believes growth should benefit residents, not just developers.

We can grow without losing what makes Effingham home.
